The next of Lightning Jack's "amazing" daytime play parties will be held on Tuesday 25th January from 11.30 to 16.00, at our now-established venue near Sunbury-on-Thames, close to the start (Junction 1) of the M3. Welcome again to our regulars who can make it, and a warm welcome awaits newcomers.
If you've not been to an LJ party, and you'd like fuller details, just drop me a memo. I also send a PM with details to everyone who expresses an interest on this thread.
Please note that we don't operate a 'just turn up' policy. Our guest list comprises previous guests and enquirers who have been sent details as per the preceding paragraph. There is no problem with 'maybe' status on the guest list if people are unsure of their other commitments.

As posted on the latter thread, we're taking stock of how to make the very best of our facilities at Sunbury. They're better kitted-out and much more spacious than our previous Vauxhall premises, but there's a flip side to that: some newcomers, especially those who are new to BDSM play parties, may have felt a little 'lost' in the much-bigger two-floor premises.
For January, we will be moving a couple of pieces of furniture upstairs, to create more of the 'all together one room play space' ambience that we enjoyed at Vauxhall. The downstairs dungeon area will of course still be available for quieter, more private/intense play, as in the (much smaller) back room at Vauxhall.
From feedback received, some other thoughts so far are:
> arrange a scene upstairs, earlyish, something a bit 'theatrical', drawing in willing (?!) volunteers.
> have some sort of brief introductory workshop for newcomers - perhaps basics of safety, use of equipment, taster of eg spanking/flogging/caning, some basic D/S mindplay, and the simple experience of being tied up.
> free Joanna, our charming TV maid, from behind the bar part of the time in order to circulate, socialise and put newcomers at ease. She did a grand job in that regard at Vauxhall, but of course it was much easier there because every part of those premises was within a dozen footsteps of the bar!
