If you install the following add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4351/) you can block adult content.

But this offers us a way to get rid of all gay content once and for all.
Any time you see disgusting gay bullshit, you block it immediately and all other users will not have to see it anymore.

So we set up our filter in a way that we can surf the entire internet safely without being disturbed by gay filth !

No specific content can be blocked. Banners, images even text.
The software tells your browser the image is marked as 'gay' so your browser won't request it. And you won't see the image.
Instead a default image will be show / a message will be shown that some content was blocked.
So you will know the website you are surfing contains blocked content.

Ad blockers work because most adverts use javascript or flash to change through the ads. They also usually originate from another site so blocking them is far easier then what you're proposing.

This is completely different, you are suggesting blocking untagged content unrecognised content through a filter which in noway can differentiate.
