Yeah, I should really be able to let it go. It's just that I have yet to see one of these "for the ladies" or "ask the ladies" or "who's a lady" posts that I don't think is an excuse for the original poster to masturbate a fantasy about the female posters. That's the tamest of the creepiness that guys push onto the female posters, but still contributes to women never posting again. And it feels as though they're insulting everyone's intelligence by thinking people will buy it that they're doing it selflessly.

I've read in medical books that the more vocally homophobic a guy is, the more likely he is trying to repress his own tendencies toward homosexuality whether he's aware of it consciously or not.
