If you use firefox, you can also use refControl (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/refcontrol/)to automanipulate the referer header. I can now just view the image as if there was no hotlinking protection enabled ;)

You got to love firefox and it' s add-ons. :thumbup

I even heard there were some crybabies who actively block firefox users from their website because of the Adblock (https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/)firefox addon.
And then redirect you to this page (http://www.whyfirefoxisblocked.com/).
I am waiting for the add-on that automagically fools those websites into thinking you are IE-user ;)
