Busting wet balls--more painful?

I was reading on a spanking site that spanking a wet butt hurts the spankee more.

There were a couple of explanations. One is that a wet bottom sticks to the hand, and the pain comes from when it 'unsticks' more than for the actual blow. The others is that if you use warm water, it heightens the sensitivity of the nerves there.

Does anyone have any comments on whether wet ball spankings hurt more? Does it just hurt scrotal skin more, or does it increase the 'good' kind of ball pain?

With slapping, I find a dry hand stings and heats the skin, but a wet hand is kinder to the skin thus allowing more deep action to the balls.

I like very cold water, as it gives and interesting contrast.

However, the red ball effect of dry hands is visually more interesting.

When squeezing, pulling and twisting balls, unlubricated hands can produce an unintentional “Chinese burn” affect, one that I find a distraction.
