An interesting question.

If you’re think of wearing them around your middle and allowing someone to punch, kick etc, tight briefs will give less room for escape and highlight the target.

Covered inside with Deep-Heat etc, only briefs are worthwhile



Thinking outside the box, used to form a weapon, by folding then filling with wet sand, the boxers should win.

Used as a flannel to hold hot water to warm the balls, boxers win again.

Put a rubberband around your balls, feed them through the fly, pull them down your legs a bit- spread your legs to keep them in place and then have your girl friend yank them down quick :)
