The site still seems kind of weird and broken, so I'm not jumping the gun on this one. Maybe he's going to do some mix of free and pay videos. I just don't know. Let's give him a few days to sort it all out.

And then, if he does try to charge people to watch all of the uploaded videos, we can either sue or just point out to the feds that he's selling porn for which he doesn't have valid 18 USC 2257 info on file, and they'll shut him down.

But like I said, I think we're jumping the gun. The "watch tons of hardcore videos" bit doesn't really seem like how you'd advertise ball-busting videos, so it may be an upsell for some porn site rather than intended as a replacement for ********************. Let's wait and see.

It looks like things are almost back to normal, but with more scummier ads. It hasn't turned into a subscription site. Other than that, my videos aren't listed under my profile anymore, but if you search for them, they still say they're by me, so I don't think he's trying to jack anything. It would be nice if he'd communicate with the community, however.

Anyway, I emailed the admin with my concern that the previous video uploads are not showing in my account when I log in. When not logged in it looks like previous uploads (aka public videos) are not showing in anyone's profiles. My guess is the same is true for private ones as well. I was given this as a response: "Thank you for the info. I'll check why the other videos are not showing in your account and will send you an email when I find a solution."

I do know that new videos are showing. I just uploaded this clip (http://tinyurl.com/m524mn6) (on friday) and it is showing today.

I am not sure why they have the "premium" button. Unless they have original content, they can't charge for other people's content without legal consent.

What was the cost of the site that you mentioned while back?

Looks like the new plan is for streaming to stay free, but downloads to cost money. This seems sort of legally iffy since it isn't stated upfront when you upload the video that this is how it will work. I'll probably still keep using it, but I really should create a new place for people to download things. Doing so is a pain, though, because so many download places don't want adult content or delete if it doesn't get downloaded enough.

I just looked at some of this. If you create an account you can download for free. If not they try to up-sell you on a membership. Seems like a way to monetize a tube site other than advertising and affiliate stuff. I am not going to comment on the legality of this...

I believe that the site was originally offered to me at around 3K. It sold for around $5000 or so at auction I believe. I didn't have the cash to buy it and I was not given all the financials on the site until it was offered for auction. By then it was too late to make a decision. It looked like a nice deal after all was said and done, but hind site is always perfect.
