Dunno about NYC; here in Toronto I know it's common for escorts to charge $90-150 for a session (half hour to one hour). Some charge substantially more (possibly even a few thousand if they're after high class clients). Tipping is generally appreciated. Sometimes an escort might charge more for something that could be unpleasant or dangerous for them, but for some, kicking might be a nice change of pace from their usual work.

So... yeah. $200 and under is not probably considered a rip off, but cheaper is possible (and if more, there'd better be a reason -- though maybe in NYC, the rent is plenty reason enough). If she's skilful and good company that might be part of the cost -- you can find someone desperate and inexperienced who'll charge less, but it might not be as good, and good to patronise a professional if you can afford to (safer and better for everyone, ultimately).

I can't tell you about NYC either; the place I went to I paid $50 ... and that was for about 2 hours. Just depends where you are and the willingness / mindset of the participating lady. To be fair, I believe I received a discount because she really liked me, and she was REALLY into busting me. It's not because I knew her before either, it was the first time we had met each other. Go figure ... sometimes you just get lucky.
