Is it to show confidence, or to make them like stronger?

It's easier on the knees, back, and balls.

I think both genders stand this way with the same frequency.

Well if you keep your tighs and legs close together, her foot won't be able to kick your balls now would it... ?? It also does help if you arch your ass a little back so her foot connectes only to your balls and not your ass and this kind of kick is more suffered by the balls so they don't go up as much... Cheers

Part of my fantasies revolve around the weakness of men "standing like men" (as one of my relatives once said) and of women (who are supposed to be ladylike) doing the same. Men who stand like this--in my mind--are exposing their most notable weakness. Women who take on this mannish posture are communicating an assertiveness without the weakness that men have. More specifically--I love a woman who kicks, knees, fakes out a man, puts her hands on her hips, and stands "like a man" afterwards. It's like a gender reversal to me. It doesn't hurt that when a woman busts a man (and stands like that afterwards) she's in a position where he can look up from the ground and see the magnificently smooth space between her legs. here's an example of a caption pic I made with the subject matter that gets me excited.
