I am programmer, and I was wondering if anybody was interested in developing a game.

I am a professional programmer, and although I have never directly worked on a game, I have lead small groups of people in the past, as well as being a developer in bigger teams.

Any help with do at this. We need writers, people who can take care of the website, as well as programmers and designers.

If you are interested drop me an email at newbbgame@gmail.com, telling me how you think you can be able to help the project. If I get enough feedback, I will set up a sourceforge website, or maybe a github.

I am a software engineer. I know the following languages JavaScript, Java, jQuery, jQuery Mobile. APEX, PLSQL, PHP, MySQL.

In the year 2014 I developed a ballbusting game. Using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS. For the graphics I have used some sprites sheets. To see the result I have to wait a lot so I have decided to stop and write some ballbusitng stories. I made a ballbusting tournament but it was not so good.

I would like to help with something if my works is needed. Sometimes I think I will not have so much time

Sure, I was thinking about something like ballbustars.net. A real game rather than a browser game.

I have written many simple games (reference:http://snakelinux.blogspot.com/)
I have written quite a few stories (reference:captions on http://www.imagefap.com/profile/snakelinux and http://www.milovana.com/webteases/?author=11566)
I have never written a fully developed game because I lack the artistic skills for graphics.
Although I use web languages like JavaScript and PHP for work all of the time (software engineer), I have never written a web game before.
The languages that I know are C, C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Visual Basic, Perl, all SQL languages, HTML, XML. I also know other languages like AWK and TCL but I am not an expert at them.
I have worked on several team projects and I have been acting team lead on many of them.
I have had experience in the past in building and maintaining websites. I stopped a few years ago when I could no longer found find free web hosting for adult material.

I'd like to keep details between you and me (or the team if we end up with one), but I'm very interested. I've sent you an email.

My strengths are in writing and design.

I'm all for a new ballbusting game! A customized character feature like with the Underground League site would be awesome. Unfortunately, I don't know any programming, but I could help write or find anime pictures, if need be.

I think there are enough programmers on this forum to do the programming. Programming is easy anyways. In video games the artists get paid a lot more money and a lot more of them are needed. If we had good computer animation artists we would be on our way to making a game. The art does not need to be as good as modern video games but it does need to be at least as good as Indie games. Once we have that we would only be missing the details of the game such as story and design. Then it just be a matter of taking the time to build it.

As far as story and design goes it needs to be very open and choice orientated to meet the widest audience without being so wide that it would take forever to develop.

Here are some tips for building an adult game:
1) Game Mechanics, Game Mechanics, Game Mechanics
Game Mechanics is the most important part of any game. If you go to gamerankings.com or metacritic.com you will that the best games all have bad stories. The Last of Us has the best story out of the best rated games but it is a zombie story so meh. Game players mostly just care about the game mechanics. It is by far the most important part of the game.

2) Sex Requires Connection
The reason why adult rated games are not very popular is because people feel perverted playing them. People do not want to play a sex game with a computer. Adult games require adults. The game should be an online game with a reasonably active community. If a person wants to be anonymous then they can just makeup an anonymous username.

3) No Copy Right Violations
Please do not use songs or pictures that you or someone working on the game did not make. Bioware was sued when they violated copy right laws when making the portraits in Ice Wind Dale. Even the big game companies get sued so do not think it is okay for you.

What I have described so far sounds similar to second-life except that I have not witnessed any great game mechanics in second-life. It is more of a social app then a game. It sounds like what the community here wants to make is a game.

Summing up: I have got a decent amount of responses. However, as snakelinux said, while we have some programmers and writers, we lack a key component of the team: the artist. If anybody with some experience in CG could help that would be great. Otherwise we may pay someone by raising some money, and then get the money back by selling the game.

I don't agree with Snakelinux on several other points though:
1) Game Mechanics, Game Mechanics, Game Mechanics
This is a ballbusting game. I don't need to play league of legends, or any awesome game with great gameplay when I am playing a bb game. Graphics and stories should be the priority, because that is where the interest of the player lies. A great story with good graphics will make an excellent bb game, even if the gameplay is not great. I'd rather play an interactive bb novel than a 2d action rpg with lame graphics and no story.

2) Sex Requires Connection
I am not sure about this either. See for example ballbustars' game. It is pretty good, and it is not online. There are plenty or bb online games, they are fine, but not as good as a full game with a great story as ballbustars'

3) No Copy Right Violations
Obviously agree.

It sounds to me like you want to use http://www.milovana.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1033 Flash teases or the software Tease Me http://www.milovana.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6993&hilit=offline to make your game. Those software would do most of the work for you. Tease Me is offline and displays bigger images than the Milovana Flash teases but you can put it on a Milovana Flash tease and then download it using Tease Me. You will still get the big images. Tease Me will convert a Milovana Flash Tease to a Tease Me copy. I think it might also convert a Tease Me copy to a Milovana Flash Tease copy. If you do not think you can make a game using these tools take a look at these examples:
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showflash.php?id=12435 Heart Break Hotel
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showflash.php?id=11987 The Pornstar Is Right
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showflash.php?id=11813 Guess Who
I have also worked on some games that I never published. Setting up variables in this language is a pain but not impossible.

The only weaknesses to using Flash or Tease Me are:
1) Coding requires someone with experience in having done that. Here is the only documentation on how programming in Flash works http://www.milovana.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4355&hilit=unset and it is old. The language syntax has changed a great deal since it was written. This is why it requires someone with recent experience to use it. I know because I wrote some tease/games in it before. They are all unpublished though. I have not written anything in the software Tease Me but supposedly everything that can be written in Flash can be written in Tease Me. Tease Me uses XML (similar to HTML because it is derived from HTML) and would be much easier to write in if it has all of the same functionality.
2) Flash is very slow to respond when writing code for it. If you press a character it takes about 10 seconds for it to respond to a key press. It is easier to write the code in notepad and paste it in. Tease Me does not have this weakness.
3) Both Milovana Flash and Tease Me do not support paid for games. In other words, the game will have to be free of charge.
4) Saving the game cannot be done whenever the player wants. Game saves can only be done at built in checkpoints and the person playing the game will have to write down the code to use next time in order to start where they left off. Once the code has been broken people will effectively be able to write their own save files, which may or may not be a bad thing.
5) All code written in Flash or Tease Me is viewable and modifiable by everyone else.
6) Depending on the player's screen resolution there is about 11 maximum choices for each set of choices but adding a "more options" button and "go back" button can be done if more options are truly needed.
7) Players will not be able to click on the screen to make there choices. They will be confined to the button options on the side.
8) Tease Me and Milovana Flash do not support mini-games. In other words, there would be no click the bell when you hear the sound or mash this button mini game.
9) If multiple people are talking there is not a bubble that nicely shows who is talking in text. The text box is more generic then that. Color coding speech will make help fix this problem though.

Strengths
1) These software do most of the work for you. It is a big time saver and these software have already been used heavily by a lot of people. You could not ask for better testing. You just have to put in the images, list the options through button selections, list what the buttons do, manage variables with set and unset functions, put in text, put in audio, and few other minor things. These software are very high-level programming languages. I should know. I was working on a program like Tease Me before it was made. My software was called NOX and it would have been about 15,000 lines of code, but I stopped working on it once Tease Me came out. As a programmer it is really nice to let the software do most of the work for you.
2) Once it has been made Tease Me can reproduce it on the other software. So if it is written on Tease Me or Milovana Flash Tease it has basically been written on both. This way people can enjoy the online version, which is easier to access or the Tease Me version (which is more fun to use because the images are bigger).

Thanks for the info snake. I was more oriented towards a game like the one ballbustars.net. The only problem would be to find an artist.

In that case you want Ren'Py http://www.renpy.org/. It is a game engine that is written in Python. It is free and it is the same game engine that was used to make the games on ballbustars.net. As a game engine it will do most of the programming work for you. A skilled programmer is still required if you want to add blackjack.

You are right. All you need now is an artist.

Hey, this is bumping an old topic, but I've been making BB games for a while now, some of them are up on itch.io (groinpaingames.itch.io) Also just launched a Patreon (www.patreon.com/groinpaingames), so check it out if you enjoy those at all
