View Full Version : Medical issues with testicles

I was diagnosed with low testosterone about a year ago. I had a couple of shots of testosterone. Then I was prescribed the sticky shoulder gel. I was down around 170 something and the gel gets me up into the low 300's. The doctor does not want to increase me above that because of a higher than normal red cell count and concern over possible heart issues.

I have read that testosterone therapy can cause testicles to atrophy and shrink. I have also read that injuries can cause testicles to shrink.

Upon examining my testicles, it seems like maybe they have shrunk by 10 or 20% here recently.

So the question is, is the cause testosterone therapy, trauma to the testicles, aging, or something else.

The following are examples of potential trauma my testicles have endured.

- For about 20 years, sessions of slapping, maybe 10 minutes of 40 slaps a minute, hard enough to hurt just a little, like a light to moderate butt spanking, usually delivered with the palm. Maybe for the past 5 years of that, with testicles pulled out from the body, held in hand. In the past year, the hits have been on the harder side.
- Testicles hit with a dull thud sensation rather than a scrotal smack.
- Testicles also hit in the past year with a piece of swimming noodle about a foot long filled with a wooden rod that runs from one end of the noodle all the way through, and extends out about 8 inches to be used as a handle.
- Frequency ranged from maybe twice a month to twice a week.
- Squeezing intermixed with the slaps, on the light side, but in the past year, at nearly full strength from a thin, not particularly athletic 5'3" woman.
- For the past few sessions, they have been delivered full strength at times with each testicle held between thumb and forefinger.
- Squeeze sessions about the same frequency as testicle spanking sessions or slightly less often.

In the past few months they have endured this trauma:
- Crushing in a screw down acrylic vice until the acrylic bends over the testicle-- not nearly as painful as a strong hand squeeze, btw. This may be accompanied by electric shocks from a device that attaches to the board.
- Board crushing has probably been done a few times a week for three or four months.
- Electrical shocks from a small 3-volt crush board shocker and also from an e-stim/TENS.

Testicles have had to support 20 or 30 ejaculations a month or so during the 20 or so years of testicle trauma.

Do you think testicle trauma is likely behind below average testicle output or testicle shrinkage?

Btw, I will not count responses to this thread as official 'medical advice'. I would like input from your personal experiences or knowledge if it is relevant.

From reading and talking to a doctor, my guess is this is a side effect of the testosterone. Specialists can give other stuff to help prevent it from shrinking down there. I read something about the possibility of some of it coming back, so I think I'll wait on that and lay off on the bb until I can let my wife have some eggs to play with, hopefully, Lord willing, instead of chestnuts or pecans.
