First, the best GIF hosting sites require GIFs to be below a specific size - usually no more than 20 MB. If they are less than 20 MB, I use https://postimages.org/ Once loaded, you need to copy the "hotlink" that has the GIF shown such that it can be seen within your forum post, as opposed to just a link to it. Once uploaded copy the "share" link. Then paste the link in your post. imgur.com also has similar feature, but for some reason it blocks this website from access.

If the GIF is larger than 20 MB but not more than 50 MB, you can reduce it's size here: https://ezgif.com/optimize

If the GIF is less than 5 MB, you can also use pimpandhost.com to hold and share it.
