I did read a dog-bb story once in a self-defence book by Pat Butler. In the final chapter, Butler's students describe how learning self-defence has helped them. In one story, a girl was walking her dog in Croydon, when a man approached and opened his coat to flash at her, he was nude. Somehow the dog took the initiative and leapt forward, fastening its teeth on the man's genitals. It was some time before she called off the dog (a Jack Russell) and the man was left crying and holding himself. The final comment from the girl was she thought he got what he deserved.

I also saw some amateur film once of a donkey kicking behind itself into a guy's crotch, which was pretty funny. I suppose you hear a lot about stopping cruelty to animals, but these are two examples of animals being cruel to people. :)
