Excuse my language, but Rapidshare sucks !
After downloading a 3,5 MB file for free they ask you to pay 6.99 EUR a month to download more files. For 6,35 EUR a Month you can get a hosting account + free domain , specs: 360 GB harddisk and 3600 GB monthly transfer at www.servage.net
Plus if you upload it to your own website nobody will be able to delete the files, because it is your own website.

So please stop uploading to rapidshare, because it sucks.... :machine:

First, thanks for the clips...

I agree that rapidshare isn't the best solution... – but... if someone wants to share his clips with us he does not want additional work... I suppose.

So I think it's better to share the clips using rapidshare than not sharing them at all, right...?!

My experience with rapidshare is that you can download as much clips as you want – even for free – but after each download you have to WAIT: The first clip downloads without any problems, but before downloading the second one you have to wait... let's say... seven minutes; for the third clip you wait 20 minutes, for the fourth one it's nearly one hour and for the fifth clip is the waiting time two hours.

It's not the perfect solution and I think they want to get on our nerves for ******* us to join their service and to pay. So rapidshare is far away from being perfect, but it's free – and if you have enough time...

So... I think the most important thing is that other users of this great forum share their clips with us... and if they prefer using rapidshare because it's easy for them... I'll accept it...

what i do if i need to download multiple rapidshare files is turn off my router and back on again and you can download straight away again with a different file instead of waiting for an hour or whatever

Then you my digital friend are lucky to have a dynamic IP.
Great for surfing the net & privacy , but impossible if you want to run a webserver at home.

I would like prefer to know a bit more about what is in the clips before I go to download them. (What sort of busting? Is she wearing shoes? What type?)

I was prepared to operate a site like that, but nobody seemed to give a damn. Given how popular file sharing is on rapid share and how popular bbshare was, I'd think it would be a good idea. Guess not :-/

Well some people give a damn. You and me could join split the costs and start a website, I am a programmer and I have over 8 years of experience in information technology. I built lots of websites for other people.

If we split the cost it is 45 EURO each for 14 months. See it as an investment to improve the world wide web, dont expect to get the costs back :)

You get yourself a paypal account and put EUR 45 on it, I will do the same and we start it up. No bother to make it all high tech. Just file-sharing fun for everybody. I know some great ways to avoid copyright problems.
