Could someone help.

I cannot play rar, avi clips.only wmv.

Its obviously to do with settings or do I need to download something.

Where do I go or what do I do?
You can make me happy.

Go to www.download.com (http://www.download.com)
Rar files do not play anything, they contain files. To open a Rar file search for and download WinRar.
For Avi files, search for and download Divx codec pack and XVid codec pack. There are other codec packs that will help you play just about any video file, not just Avi. KLite Codec Pack is one of them. www.download.com (http://www.download.com) should have all these files.

Kickme000 is right. I thought I'd add though- we're both assuming your on windows..

If kickme000's talk of codecs confuses you too much to download them (i have no idea how easily confused you are by computery things!)

Download VLC herel (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html). That can play alot of files.. definitely .avi.

Google FFDshow and install it.

Yes, get VLC its a really good media player and most movies will work with it.
