when they got to "Cock Gambling in Vegas, chapter 3"(authorship situation just gets weirder as they get farther along) http://www.eunuch.org/Alpha/C/ea_151631cock_gam.htm, i started getting ideas myself. in this part of the story the 6 couples have already decided to make this a weekly thing that they're gonna carry on with back home and in this chapter come up with some comprehensive rules to take the game to its bittersweet end. this got me thinking that maybe the authors weren't thinking BIG enuf. why not expand this idea into an ongoing national/international competition(underground tho', not widely publicized) sanctioned & supervised by the Nevada Gaming Commission. "The Key Party"(cool name, eh?) would be handling some pretty serious cash from various sources: legal wagering, VERY high attendance fees for non-participants & limited distribution DVDs(license to print money!) of these events. Throw in a stiff(no pun intended) entry fee for the game's players & the you could be looking at some serious prize money for the "winner". maybe enuf to take the quotation marks off "winner".
here's something else i thought of; make it CSI(Vegas) fanfiction. start with the discovery of the body of a mature & attractive woman in a hotel room. blunt trauma to the head. there's blood & brain tissue on the base of a very interesting trophy. from the trophy's base sprouts a metal dowel, the temporary mounting point of a taxidermically-preserved "winner". and now the questions start: who is she? who killed her? their motive? and where in hell did she get a severed human penis? the csi team's reactions to all this & to the Key Party would be priceless. an additional wrinkle as well; set the story before Warrick Brown's gambling addiction gets outted and who knows? he did have tendancy to win more often than he lost when he gambled...
one more thing, a little something for anthropomorphic enthusiasts; furry Vegas! maybe the dead cougar in the hotel room really WAS a cougar!
