The actor playing Nite Owl II, the pudgy, docile, sexually inadequate Batman-like hero is the same actor that played the pedophile that gets ********* in Hard Candy.


Great, now my head has linked the two roles. In my mind, Nite Owl II retires, takes up kiddie porn, gets *********, gains weight, becomes docile, and can't get it up anymore by the time the Watchmen movie begins.

If I had to guess, they aren't going to get into his erectile dysfunction the same way they did in the comic. They're trying to make this a film that captures a mainstream audience. I get the feeling that a lot of the side stories are going to be ignored, just in the interest of time. To do it justice, it would have to be a TV miniseries coming in at 6 hours.

He's buff, from all looks of it. He's going to be Christian Bale's Batman, not Alan Moore's. Nite Owl II isn't going to be our lovable nerd.

in hard candy he is not actually *********, the whole thing is staged, she numbs him, and then plays back a medical video on that screen she sets up

Really? In Hard Candy, I got that the video wasn't actually his operation. Maybe I misinterpreted.


Why wouldn't they get into Owl's ED? The trailer shows the ending of the Dr Manhatten attempted gangbanging of his wife. And they can't leave out the Comedian's ****** which is key to the story.

yep, which is why it becomes evident that he really is a paedo when he could just have left the house, after not being *********, but still goes looking for her afterwards.

For those of you that haven't actually read the comic book it actually has 2 busts in it by the female character Silk Specter 2 that the increadably hot Malin Akerman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0015196/) is playing.

One is her wearing plain clothes grabing a street thug by the balls and the other one is her waering her costume kneeing a prison inmate in the balls.

Really hope these will be in the movie.
