I have used them. For me they were essential. Very uncomfortable but without em I would have tried to get the thing off my dick.

I use the points of intrigue (largest points) with my CB and I love them!
The points of intrigue will prevent that I get my dick out of the CB, but they are also an excellent instrument of torture,
The points of intrigue will start torturing you When you get aroused, and soon will be in heavy pain and faced with a dilemma.
The pain will make sure that you get more aroused, When you are into CBT, and as your dick tries to get larger and stiffer the pain will increase to an unbearable level. The only way out is to try to ignore the pain but as soon as the pain decreases and gets a little bit pleasant you will start thinking about this fantastic torture and get aroused again. This dilemma can last for more than a hour.
Once in a while I put my CD with the points of intrigue on when I go to bed. I will wake up in a lot of pain caused by the CBT of the points of intrigue and it will take a lot of pain and time before I can solve the dilemma and can go back to sleep again. (In some occasions this will happen more than one time during a night)
The points of intrigue (the larger the better) are one of my favourite self torture instuments.
They really torture you and You have no control over the pain, no physical contact needed (although I like additional squeezing ,slapping and hitting of the balls which are also under pressure caused by the aroused dick in the CB. It gives additional busted ball pain and surely will not help to solve the dilemma).
Also a nice instument of torture for a mistress who wants to punish a slave for being horny.
Lock him in a CB with points of intrigue, and put him in bondage before a TV or PVC with his favourite porn or SM movie, sit back and enjoy his suffering.
