Coming from my line of work, I really wished they'd do that. I guarantee you violent and sexual crimes would plummet if criminals knew that if convicted, they get their penis and testicles removed...

Sex offender should be ********* in a manner that es physically humane but emotionally stress and humilating.

So it should be a surgery, where he es total restrain. A doctor should do the procedure, but this must be filmed and there will be others there to view it as it happens, but behind glass but he will be able to hear them cheer and insult. Once the testicles are exposed and blood vessels are tied off, the final cut should be made by the victim. She will be in scrubs and with mask. At that moment the victim will be allowed to approach his face a speak with him for a few minutes then she will go down there and the doctor will supervise her as she (the victim) gets to complete this man's **********. As a jesture symbolic the victim will retain possession of the severed glands to do with what ever she would like (I think just to throw out, but maybe someone want to bronze them for the mantel).

The films will be shown in high school and on the web, I think hope to convince others not to follow.

If he is convicted of a sex related crime after that, the penis must be removed in a like manner.

let the victim near the convicted with a sharp object? sounds like a bad idea to me. Who is to say the victim will stop and not just kill the bloke there and then. Its ridiculous in my opinion.

I actually am in favor of capital punishment for all serious offenses. As far as a threat goes, a death sentence is worse than a ********** sentense, and it will be cheaper so it wont burden the economy as much.

No, I don't agree. However, I think for a second or third conviction for violent **** or child molestation.. a (male) offender should be given a "choice". Life imprisonment (without a chance for parole) or "snip, snip". However, he should complete psychiatric examination first.

My notion is this should be less about punishment and more about treatment. However, public safety must take primacy. Also, laws need to be uniform and sensible. The term "sex offender" is far too broad. A 22 year-old man, having sex with a 16 or 17 year-old girl is not **** or child molestation. It is sexual misconduct. The same is true for an 18 year-old girl having relations with her 15 year-old boyfriend.

It is absurd that (in America), a Florida teacher in her mid or late twenties receives "house arrest" for illicit relations with a 13 or 14 year-old boy. Whilst, an 18 year-old girl faces prison for having it off with her 14 or 15 year-old boyfriend. Yes, I agree either age is too young but, that isn't the point. I apologise if, I seem a bit strident. However, I despise injustice directed at kids.

It is not even sexual misconduct ! When I was 20/21 I had a 16/17 year old girlfriend. There is nothing wrong with such a small age difference.

It is all about the mental age difference of the people involved. I would say I became fully mentally mature at the age of 23.

I consider it much more out of balance for me now to have a relationship with an average 20 year old, then it is for a 22 year old guy to have a relationship with a 17 year old girl.

How are you? I wasn't addressing "The mental age difference". My comments were meant to speak to the law. However, I concede a different age gap, might've made for a better example. As the laws, vary from state to state. In some states, the age of consent is 16 yet, in others it's higher. In those states where relations with 16 year-olds are prohibited, sex with one is sexual misconduct.. no matter your opinion.

However, you ARE entitled to your opinion. AND I respect that opinion. Many have made strong arguments for it. Some girls (and boys) may've the emotional maturity to conduct an intimate relationship and to handle, any serious consequences. However, I don't believe that to be the case, with the overwhelming majority.

Interesting cartoon I found of prison guards with a prisoner tied upside down by the balls and holding desperately on to the rope to keep from losing his manhood. In doing research of some old time punishments I found a punishment used historically in prisons where a rope was tied tightly around the male prisoners genitals with his hands also bound. The rope around his genitals tied to the rafters overhead ******* the male offender to stand on his tip toes in order to prevent damage to his testicles or the loss of his manhood.
