I, a US citizen, currently (but, hopefully, temporarily) present in the no-longer-so-good-old USA, selected the image featured in this thread, which selection appears to have provoked the downloading of a US Army recruiting ad.

I find this particularly disturbing, as, I've always thought of this thread as constituting a world of fun and fantasy. (Well, except, of course, for the unfortunate male livestock, who would have had to have been ********* for their meat-bearing qualities in any case!)

But this ad, apparently coupled to this image, not only gives me serious concern as to just what sort of young men the US Army is currently seeking to recruit, but positively hijacks this forum, removing it from the realm of fantasy and dragging it straight into the horrors of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay's Camp X-Ray.

Could Femaledom.com please look into this matter?

Hi Lilbob, it works fine in NZ, and I could not see what you have claimed. I guess it is generated by US-located server. For instance, at overseas outside the US, we could always see ads like "green card to US" or kind of similar. Anyway, if it appears again, I would probably inform the image hosting service. I understand that you are unhappy to see those ads being showcast everywhere. No worry. Thanks for your information, and do PM me if you find this happen again. Enjoy the clip =)

No wonder NZ is filling up with immigrants. Sounds like a great country (the UK 50 years ago!), but I have an alternate passport which I'm trying to use to escape this increasingly awful country.

Allow me to get political for a minute:

I have opposed this country's imperialistic foreign policies since before I had hair on my balls. The fact that I'd once worked at the World Trade Center made the Afghanistan War seem necessary for a time, but, once I realized what the Afghan War was all about, I began to vehemently oppose the Bush Administration's war in Afghanistan, and, even more so, his war in Iraq. I opposed these wars so vehemently that I even even participated in a sit-in blockading a US Army recruiting depot for about an hour! But with President Obama (who actually wants to EXPAND the war in Afghanistan!) currently in power, any criticism of any policy of his administration is automatically deemed to constitute opposition to the President himself on account of his race. And it's worse than that: his administration is currently organizing goon squads ready to violently quash any opposition to his policies. (Their chronic excuse, which is to ask their victim: "Where were you during the eight years of the Bush Administration?", does not allow for an answer along the lines that you spent those years (or, at least, some of them) protesting in the streets against the Bush Administration and its horrid policies; indeed, such arguments only seem to make them angrier.) The non-racial nature of these goon-squad tactics is best illustrated by the most highly publicized of these incidents: an attack upon a Black Obama opponent by a group of predominantly White thugs, who actually used the N-word while beating him, while the entire scene was cheered on by a predominantly Black group of Obama supporters.

The truth is, this country is becoming impossible for anyone hoping to live life as a free man or woman to live in.

So, enjoy life in NZ, while you still can.

I'm not a disappointed recent immigrant or anything like that. In fact, I'm at least a third-generation American, with most of my family having arrived in the US long before Ellis Island ever opened for business.

I fully realize that a sexually oriented forum is hardly the place into which political discussion should be introduced (although, this being a global forum, discussion of internal issues within various countries might be interesting to some readers). But the US Army itself inserted politics into this forum by means of that ad. and I might well ask how does an ad on behalf of the male-dominated US Army fit in with the Femaledom.com forum? (And I absolutely admit that that's a totally fake argument on my part just to make my own argument seem relevant to the forum!)

But my post seems to have been effective in ways I couldn't have imagined when I posted it.

In the twenty-four hours since my post, my email accounts have been unavailable to me for more than an hour (and my email accounts are where I usually cache my most politically sensitive writings, particularly those I don't post publicly). I have also noticed that my internet functions, which have always been extremely rapid, have suddenly become extremely slow. (vlad_Drakulav has mentioned the possibility of spyware, a possibility of which, my computer being just a few days shy of a year old, has never shown symptoms, until after I posted my objection to the US Army recruiting ad on this forum.) The function of my Internet service involving my reception of internet TV was also interrupted for almost six hours. I also made a telephone call yesterday in which I overheard other people speaking, as one might expect on a cell phone call, except that both myself and my fellow conversant were using land lines, so the fact that my phone is tapped (which is a fact that I've long realized) was advertised to me by the US Government, which has a lengthy, documented history of blatant surveillance of political targets in order to create paranoia for the purpose of disrupting effective organized opposition to its policies.

If, as I strongly suspect, the US government has used my internet access to seize all the files on my computer, then, I truly have nothing to hide. I also have nothing to fear from any law-abiding US government authority, as, in the use of my internet access, I have broken no laws.

I leave you with a link to a not very sexy video, which, in my opinion, just happens to document the angriest press conference in history. It's Leon Trotsky's press conference about the trials then underway concerning the so-called "Block of Rights and Trotskyites", in which press conference Mr. Trotsky (by the way, I am, by no means, a Marxist or a Communist, but an extremely avid supporter of the Constitution of the United States of America) expresses his willingness to lay his life on the line in order to prove his innocence of Stalinist charges of conspiring to destroy the Soviet Union.

His most effective statement during the press conference is the same as mine: "I have nothing to hide!"

The line in Trotsky's press conference that I interpreted as "without any gaps" should read "resolve any gaps". I also got the order of the defendants’ names wrong!
