If we have to go to art, how about the cock and balls death-grip of Hercules and Diomedes?

That's mental. Which one's getting busted, Hercules or Diomedes?

The old greek were gay.
Too bad their ancient butthole fucking culture has not died with them.

I live in Amsterdam. And as you all know it is crowded here with homosexuals.
But as I went to Athens (greece) I did not expect it would be even more gay than Amsterdam.

Those people sell gayporn on the street in those little kiosks.
I guess it has to do with their ancient history. All their mythological buttfucking heroes that are being glorified.

Don't get me wrong. I am not homophobic. All people have the right to live.
I just strongly dislike anal sex. Don't know why private (the mainstream porn industry) are so focussed on buttfucking. It is disgusting and stupid. The end of your digestion track is to exit food. There is nothing sexual about it.

And I don't discriminate, I think lesbianity is not normal / healthy either.

Anyway, I love ballbusting art. Especially sculptures.

As I don’t socialise with gods, I have no idea which of Hercules and Diomedes is giving the death-grip.

In many versions of the myth, Hercules kills Diomedes, so perhaps Diomedes is suffering.

Ancient Greek culture was very different to our own, but both these “men” seem sufficiently old for marriage and so would have women for sex.

Neither nude wrestling nor this hold would have been considered gay when this statue was created, or in the time it depicts.

Ancient Greek wrestling was not the sanitised fantasies we see on TV, but a serious sport often causing death or crippling injuries.

Nakedness during sport was only introduced to prevent women taking part.

For the record, I don’t indulge in anal or men!

Really ? Where did you learn that ?

Yes, yes you are. Your comments about anal demonstrate your ignorance and blame shifting... anal sex isn't even the most common sex act gay men have, and plenty of other people do it too (straight men and women, even some lesbians).

How do I know that they competed naked to exclude women?

OK, some men prevented their cocks from bouncing around with a thin length of leather.

I could rattle on about historical evidence, linguistics etc.
The short answer is that Zeus told me.

Diomedes is the one with the crown, meaning that Hercules is the busted one.

Regarding Greek culture, I would like to point out that when Anglosaxons were still living in caverns without a written language, without laws, without anything but a little food, Greeks were already homosexual.

PS: that beautiful sculpture of Vincenzo De' Rossi is in Palazzo Vecchio, Florence, Italy.
