I only looked at a landing page for less than a second before moving on, and did not scrutinise it in depth. Perhaps we are talking about different sites.

However, anybody can join this forum and post almost any link, the same as many forums.

I don’t think you can reasonably expect this forum’s moderator to read every post and check every link.

I think that most people make it pretty clear what their links point to. I assume that this was not the case with the one you clicked on.
