How Long Can Swelling Last?

So I had a particularly good session yesterday and have had a dull ache since. There wasn't much swelling until this afternoon (24 hours later) and the pain is less than it was yesterday. I do notice a little bruising on my scrotum, and the swelling is about 1.5x the normal size. The dull pain is nothing more than when I had my vasectomy a few years ago. I do not suspect bleeding internally, and the testicles seem to be normal size and feeling them seems normal...just swelling of the scrotum w/ mild pain. How long should I tolerate this before I seek medical attention? This is far from my 1st session, but was the roughest. So what do the veterans think?

I've had swelling for about four days. 1.5 times regular size isn't too bad. If it doesn't go down somewhat after a couple of days, get checked out.

Swelling is to be expected after a hard session. I have had a session where my sac swelled up really good and actually turned a shade of purple. They hurt for two weeks as well. Everything checks out now. You would probably know right away if there was a rupture and you didn't mention peeing blood so I wouldn't worry too much. That is just my opinion though...take it for what it is worth.
