Icey Hot Balls Can Literally Actually Poison and Kill You

Icey Hot and some of those other creams contain methyl salicylate which breaks down to the same chemical as aspirin. Scrotal skin is thin and can absorb a lot more than regular skin. It is possible to get the equivalent of 40 aspirin in your bloodstream from the stuff. Your body may react with heavy breathing to try to expel the poison.


Pain killer kind of works against what is intended with this stuff on testicles. I've experienced this stuff on balls and urethra (the outside)... don't do that. I'm glad I survived this.


You wouldn't die probably from the pain, but from the chemical poisoning.
