1991 -- A Paducah, Ky., judge dismissed a lawsuit last July by Candy Varble, who complained that she was bitten by Ronnie Watson's pit bull. The judge said he had no authority to order Watson to pay her medical bills, and anyway, the judge noted that Varble had won the fight with the dog when she disabled him by "severely" yanking his testicles.
1996 -- In a December medical journal, University of New Hampshire researchers found that one adolescent boy in 10 has been kicked in the testicles by another kid, 40 percent of the time by girls. Boys who wear glasses or have other physical limitations are three times more likely to be kicked, and a year after the kicking, one-fourth of the victims still suffered depression from the incident.
1995 -- In an April interview with the Vancouver Sun, lawyer Russ Stanton complained about getting only $53,000 in damages for a recent client whose ovary was removed by surgical error. He cited a case in which a man received $80,000 for a testicle removed by surgical error. Said Stanton, "In my view, one ovary has got to be worth one testicle."
Sara,
Did you come across the news article about the guy in India that was kicked in the testicles by a woman and DIED of the injury?
Hi Gripcrush!
No, I haven't read that news article from India, but such a thing is possible, as I'm sure you know.
It must have been quite a spectacular kick, or series of kicks. Probably repeated strong kicking which ruptured his testicles and led to a case of medical shock.
I wonder what the guy did to piss her off so much!?
Here's another pasted-in one I found online:
1997 -- Texas A&M student Jonathan Culpepper and his fraternity, Kappa Alpha, were indicted in College Station, Texas, in December on a criminal hazing charge because of a severe "wedgie." The grand jury found that fraternity members lifted a candidate, unnamed in news reports, off his feet by the waistband of his briefs, causing the man to require the surgical removal of a testicle.
1992 -- In a recent medical paper, prominent Houston surgeon Louis Girard proposed "********** as a Deterrent to Violent Crime." While that alternative has been around for a while, Girard's sub-theme is new: "For lesser crimes ... removal of one testicle or one ovary" would be better than removal of fingers or toes because partial ********** would make the criminal more docile and would not affect his or her ability to work, allowing him or her to be returned to society.
1993 -- In Texas in January, former agricultural sciences teacher Dick Pirkey asked to be reinstated; he had been fired in October 1991 after a student, citing Pirkey's suggestion, orally ********* a pig in class.
1994 -- In June, advocates for optional chemical ********** as therapy for sex offenders in Texas squared off against those who are pushing for it as mandatory punishment. The therapy ****** are led by Houston minister Rev. Jew Don Boney.
1992 -- The Niagara County, N.Y., sheriff's office reported in March that a 38-year-old man from Wheatfield, N.Y., had been taken to DeGraff Memorial Hospital suffering from the effects of a do-it-yourself ********** performed with clamps, a scalpel and a local anesthetic. He said he needed to reduce his sex drive.
1996 -- Wayne Dumond made News in 1988 when he won $110,000 in an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit against an Arkansas sheriff. Vigilantes had ********* Dumond as an alleged ******, and the sheriff had displayed Dumond's privates in a jar on his desk as a souvenir, which a jury said was unnecessary ridicule.
In 1990, the Parole Board recommended Dumond be freed based on DNA evidence that showed it unlikely he had committed the ****, but then-Gov. Bill Clinton, who was a friend of the **** victim's mother, rejected the recommendation.
In September 1996, Gov. Mike Huckabee ordered Dumond released, based on that DNA evidence.
Hi Sara
Did you also hear about the man in Souht Africa who was grabbed by the balls and squeezed by his wife (cause he wanted to have sex and she didn't) and he died on her!
Yes, I remember that news story from over a year ago.
I had it bookmarked but it's not online any more.
Here's an strange one originally at: www.gendertrust.org.uk/news028.php

Sex-change woman sues over 'terrible mistake'
27 May 2004
A Transsexual who spent £60,000 on surgery to become a woman is suing her doctor after claiming that he misdiagnosed her with gender dysphoria.
Samantha Kane, 44, had the operation to change her gender seven years ago but now claims that the sex change was a terrible mistake.
After living as a woman since the surgery, Ms Kane, who lives in Newcastle upon Tyne, says that she was misdiagnosed and wants to find a way to restore male genitals to her body.
She is suing Dr Russell Reid, a consultant psychiatrist, for £186,442 personal injury compensation. She alleges that he negligently allowed healthy male organs to be removed and failed to properly advise her once he found out her medical history.
Ms Kane¹s problems began after the breakdown of her marriage in the early 1990s. At the time, Ms Kane was Sam Hashimi, an Iraqi-born millionaire with a property empire and father to two children.
After losing contact with her children she became depressed and started to fantasise about dressing up in women¹s clothes. She contacted Dr Reid through the Tranny Guide, a directory for transvestites, in December 1996.
A prescription for female hormones followed, and a male hormone suppressant.. Dr Reid referred her for three feminisation operations, according to a High Court writ.
A year after seeing Dr Reid for the first time, Mr Hashimi had the £10,000 sex-change surgery. The former businessman had already had electrolysis to remove facial hair, breast implants, facial plastic surgery and an operation to tighten the vocal cords.
In an interview this year, Ms Kane said that she missed her penis and had come to the conclusion that she had lost a healthy male organ. After attempts to find a surgeon to construct an artificial penis, Ms Kane started living and dressing as a man two years ago.
Ms Kane alleges that Dr Reid should never have referred her for gender realignment surgery. Ms Kane is representing herself.

Make Me A Man Again
May 26 2004
A millionaire is suing the surgeon who gave him a sex-swap operation because he no longer wants to be a woman.
Father-of-two Charles Kane, 44, became Samantha Kane in August 1997 - but after three years realised he had rushed into the decision and wanted to be a man again.
The property developer and designer had been suffering from a nervous breakdown after his wife left him and claims gender identity specialist Dr Russell Reid convinced him to have the surgery.
But he is now desperate to return to being Charles and has launched a High Court claim for damages for the trauma he has suffered from having a sex change he did not want.
Mr Kane, who has lived at Keelmans Apartments, City Road, Newcastle, for the past year, said he has felt "penis envy" and has felt extremely inadequate as he has lived as a ********* man since the surgery.
In a writ issued at the High Court, Mr Kane, who referred to himself as "they" throughout, is seeking £186,442.20 compensation because he alleges Dr Reid failed to take precautions in referring him for surgery, failed to take appropriate action in response to his medical history and was negligent or reckless in advising him.
Speaking from his luxury Quayside flat, Mr Kane described the anguish he felt after the operation.
He said: "The whole experience was very distressing for me - it was a devastating operation and very difficult.
"I was a heterosexual male - I have never been gay - and that is why it didn't make any sense to have this operation.
"I was suffering from a nervous breakdown after the break-up of my marriage so I was very upset.
"People who knew me never thought I would have this sort of surgery but I had a real lack of confidence so I went to the doctor, who convinced me I needed the surgery.
"I had a fantasy and the desire of escaping but that was confused with the medical condition of bisexuality."
Mr Kane split from his wife in the mid 1990's.
He says the split and being unable to see his children, who are now 18 and 19, caused his property empire to collapse and he was left virtually penniless.
He says he was referred to Dr Reid after suffering severe mental break down.
But claims the surgeon convinced him he was living as a woman in a man's body and should have a sex change.
He claims just eight months after the first consultation he went under the knife.
Mr Kane, who is writing a book about his experiences called Back on Mars from a long trip to Venus, claims his confused state of mind left him unable to question what was going on.
He said: "I didn't think to question the doctor's decision.
"If a doctor says you need an operation you have to have one.
"I took hormones which changed my mind and my body so I wasn't thinking clearly.
"After the surgery my mind was a lot clearer and I felt better.
"I went back to him and told him I wanted to live back as a man because I knew I wasn't a woman.
"I do want to get this court case out of the way and to move on to be just a normal type of guy.
"I want to settle down with someone and move on, but the experience of living as a woman was beneficial and at least I know how a woman feels."
Dr Reid, who works at the private London Institute, refused to comment on the case last night.

Mentally Unstable Man Castrates Self
A woman police officer got the shock of her life on Saturday when checking on a man who appeared to be mentally ill, and who was incarcerated in the cells at St Margaret’s Police Station. She found that he had partially ********* himself by ripping off one of his testicles with his bare hands.
The bleeding man was quickly taken to San Fernando General Hospital where doctors wheeled him into surgery in an effort to save his organ. It was not known up to late yesterday, however, if doctors were able to re-attach the torn testicle. The man remains warded in stable condition at SFGH. According to police sources, the frightening incident occurred last Saturday afternoon when the man’s relatives brought him to St Margaret’s Police Station complaining that he was behaving in a violent, unstable manner.
The 47-year-old man reportedly jumped over the charge-room counter and started fighting with police, who overpowered and placed him in one of the cells at the station. While officers were pondering on whether or not to charge the man, they heard him shouting, “there’s a snake in my pants.” The WPC on checking the man, found him half naked and his sexual organs bleeding. Before the horrified officer could react, sources said, the man tore off one of his testicles with his hands and collapsed.
