I remember reading some time back that both the former Soviet Union and Cuba had sent "interrogators" to North Vietnam during the war, to show the VC some "techniques". Several Cuban & Russian women interrogator/torturesses were amoung those sent. Not that the Viet Cong women needed such help. They seemed to do quite well on their own as seen here.
