on the issue of blood clots; there's increased risk 4 people with blood flow problems (diabetes for example). In most cases, however, consuming 200 to 400mg of aspirine on regular basis (yes, the traditional) reduces chance of clots and improves general flow. That is either for any sport with strings in a particular area or just the surgeon's tip that's been around for a few decades for elder population.
