"Quark" means "curd cheese" – but though being German myself I don't find it very logical.
Perhaps it means something like kicked to a pulp, or something like that... – balls like a soft curd cheese...?? :wooow
I guess that "quark" should just simulate the noise of this kick in the balls.
Quark is a weird German cheese, like the poster above said.
It's also the name of a Star Trek character, whose forehead sort of resembles balls.

There aren't two competing threads. The difference isn't cartoons versus comics, it's femdom versus ballbusting. The "Ballbusting cartoons" thread is for ballbusting.
