If you use firefox, you can also use refControl to automanipulate the referer header. I can now just view the image as if there was no hotlinking protection enabled
You got to love firefox and it' s add-ons.
I even heard there were some crybabies who actively block firefox users from their website because of the Adblock firefox addon.
