This reminds me of a women's self defence article I read that many women aim a little too high when they kick a male and actually target the penis. The corrective instruction was to be sure to kick under the penis and further back to ensure hitting the testicles (which are probably the most important target women should concern themselves with.)
what you say is certainly correct - on the other hand, aiming TOO far back will result in a "shin-kick", like this:

A "shin kick" between the legs is a perfect way to do the desired damage to a male's nutsack. There's far less chance of missing the desired "little guys" in his bag. This would be a great instructional cartoon!

I agree. I know in some cases it's the particular style of drawing to do small bodies and big eyes etc, but it just makes them look seven years old and that is sick.
