I was able to download them as flash video files using the DownloadHelper addon in Mozzila Firefox, and then changed them into AVI using SUPER although you can leave them as flv files and watch them with Windows Media Classic or VLC.

i can download them with realplayer or atube catcher (this one allows you to download also from youtube, xtube etc.. and convert before download, even in .wmv)

You should now have an icon which looks like three balloons on your menu bar. When you are on a site with streaming video they will rotate and turn red, blue and yellow and you can click on the arrow to the right and save the video as an flv file. I find it seems to work on most sites.
