Despite the fact that the US government has fuck all to do with megaupload, this is just a retaliation from the US government because of the SOPA blackout that many websites (google, wikipedia, etc.) supported.

A clear message was sent to the US gov. that SOPA is wrong - and they shit bricks when they realized the big players of the 'net disagreed with them... So they used brute force to piss off the planet's population.

Nothing new about that though - the US gov. is used to interfering in matters of other countries and using bullying tactics to force populations to it's will.
