Tragic.
I used to communicate with her regularly over an ~18 month period. I now wish I’d kept in closer contact, as I can’t help thinking I might have done something to help. I know that’s unlikely, but I still feel so sad that I wasn’t there for her. She was one of a kind
I’ve been here since the beginning (pre Sara) in various guises. It’s so sad to look back at all the posts here from old friends who are no longer with us*. RIP the lot of you. I wonder whether its y’all that keep me coming here. It’s a sad ghost of a place now compared to its heyday as nobody can sign up now.
New members couldn’t post for a decade and there has been no new member this year so I assume that people cannot even sign up now. It’s a shame to watch this once great shrine slowly crumble….
*ironically one old member likely died of the testicular cancer he had that had spread before he stopped replying to my mails

Life is truly subject to the unpredictable. That's why we must live in the moment. If you wait to enjoy it in the future, it may never come.
