While researching comanches i ran across an interesting article concerning the treatment of prisoners captured by these plains indians. When comanche raiders took a man or men captive if possible, these unfortunants were taken back to the indian encampment alive for the pleasure of their women. The women were far more patient than the men. They would cut off a man's fingers, peel his eyes, stretch his tongue, roast the soles of his feet. They invarably devoted fiendish attention to his penis and testicles The torture went on for hours even days, so long as the body lived. There was one man they got hold of who when the women threatened his dick and balls with burning and the knife, laughed at them! The chief was so abashed, he ordered the disappointed squaws to turn the man loose, probably fearing the prisoners medicine was more powerful than his own.
