I thought it was bullshit when I first read that, but later I saw a TV show called "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here", and in one of the trials Sophie Anderton was having trouble biting a kangaroo testicle in her mouth, but not wanting to give up she bit very hard with her molar teeth and unexpectedly the ball POPPED, but even with a loud popping sound! Then I learned that it’s because of the outer membrane that must removed first for them not to pop.
