I was watching some re-run on TV the other night. It was an old AFV or something like it. I have never found watching people in pain the least bit funny, especially if its children. Pain, to me is a sexual thing, between two consenting adults.

So I was just wondering if someone could explain to me why it was so funny to see that little boy in so much pain, yet it was a serious thing when his mother did the exact same thing.

Julie I agree with you and believe it’s just another example of the double standards we live with everyday. For some reason it’s funnier when the “stronger” sex gets it in the area that makes him a male. I’m sure the little boy was mortified by what happened and that is certainly not funny. Pain inflicted on ones genitals should be invited and even then it is a sensual thing and not funny. I see nothing funny about blows to the groin to anyone. Now two consenting partners is a different story altogether.
